It feels wrong to plug my website here when I haven't uploaded anything new for awhile, but my latest project has literally taken all my time.

Portland has a big event called the Rose Festival (second largest Grand Floral Rose Parade behind Pasadena, CA) that goes for the month of June. One of the events is the Dragon Boat races. I have friends that compete, so I usually go down and take pictures of them.

With my website redesign, I decided to implement a feature similar to the CSS Zen Garden and create a unique look for the shots from this event. The goal is to use the same HTML file that is used for all the other galleries and only change the CSS file to alter the look. I think it turned out pretty good, if a bit rushed. Since it was the first time I did this, there was a LOT of work to do. I estimate 15 hours since Saturday. Doesn't sound like a lot, but I do have a day job so I've only got about 3 hours of productive time in the evenings to work on projects.
